The Standard Macro Synthetic Fiber is one of the most common synthetic macro fibers on the market, recognized for its transparent appearance and standard strength properties. Made from pure polypropylene (PP), it offers a tensile strength ≥350 MPa, an elastic modulus >5000 MPa, with lengths of 12-58mm and diameters of 0.6-1mm, making it suitable for general concrete reinforcement and industrial flooring. In contrast, high-strength fibers (e.g., Twist Wave Fiber), with their solid white color and tensile strength >600 MPa, deliver superior performance for high-load applications but at a higher cost. Standard fibers are better suited for budget-conscious routine projects. Compared to recycled fibers (e.g., Environmental Macro Synthetic Fiber), the standard version lacks a clear cost advantage. Recycled fibers provide a similar tensile strength ≥350 MPa, produced from recycled materials at a lower price with better eco-friendliness, making them a viable substitute. With an elongation at break <15% and lightweight nature (density 0.91 g/cm³) for easy handling, the standard fiber’s ordinary performance and higher cost are losing ground to recycled alternatives. In 2025, as environmental demands rise, it serves as a transitional option, with recycled fibers recommended for priority use.
